  1. I really like how the first option comes in a multitude of colors. Just plain black is boring. But the second one being light weight is definitely great for someone like me who needs to work on arm strength. I really like that they are both affordable. Beginners don’t need to spend an arm and a leg to learn the basics.

    • Hi, Nicole Stiles and thank you.

Yes, it is always nice to have the possibility to choose the colors you like most. It is more you, and if your outfit is like you want to have it, you are more comfortable. And when you are more comfortable, your development is better. Look like a little thing, but the factor is that it is essential.

I am to agree that it is vital to have the possibility to start without needed to spend a lot of money when you are trying new things. But luckily the necessary cost for using boxing as good exercise, like it is, like in the gym is not much.

      Good luck.

  2. For me, I think that MMA is one of the best sports in the world. I like to go to the boxing gym but I am not a professional boxer. Number 3, Elite Boxing Gloves are perfect for me. What I like the most is that they are durable and will not last for only 10 days. I will order it immediately.

    • Hi, Daniel and thank you.

Boxing is an excellent exercise. You don´t need to be a fan or support the sport, but you can have a massive benefit of using box exercises in the regular gym. The technique and movements. But you need gloves to have the possibility to get the maximal benefit of it.

And I agree that it is, at least, almost better to buy lost lasting things and many cheap.

  3. Hi there

I liked your review and breakdown of these beginners boxing gloves. My sister has just started kickboxing and after reading this, the Everlast New Pro seems ideal for her. The fact that it comes in red too is a bonus and I’ll be putting this down as her Xmas wish list.

I’m drawn to the Venum range more though as they have a wider spectrum of colours and seem more lightweight. Would you recommend them for kickboxing too? Thanks

    • Hi, Teresa and thank you.

In kickboxing, I would prefer to recommend The Everlast New Pro than Venum Challenger 2.0 Boxing Gloves.

The reason that The Everlast New Pro design is with a multi-purpose in mind, for example, kickboxing. But even so, you can use Venum Challenger 2.0 Boxing Gloves too in kickboxing; the gloves are longer on the wrist which is not ideal.

  4. Awesome review on best boxing gloves for beginners.  I’ve always wanted to get into boxing or kickboxing as I feel that the sport is a really good self-defence sport for women to learn and practice, and also a fun sport to participate in.

I really like the gloves that you reviewed, however, I personally prefer the pink Everlast gloves that are in the Amazon ads at the bottom of your page 🙂  Are those ones any better/worse than the Everlast Elite that you discussed?

    • Hi, Nicki V and thank you.

Boxing is too brilliant exercises to mix in a with the regular gym. I´m not talking about boxing against a person but to use a lot of training build on strength and technique to build your shape up.

The Pink Everlast Women’s Pro Style Training Gloves you talk about are excellent gloves. And believe you will like it because it is very popular gloves.

And it is a good reason for it.  For example, it is very durable, breathability and comfort. Everlast is an outstanding brand and well focused on the essential details.

But at the same time that it the reason I choose to recommend the Everlast Elite prefer.  There is excellent technology focused on protecting the hand and have more gripping power than the gloves you mention. One design in the Elite which made it unique is that it optimizes first placement and promotes too a natural range of motion.

For this reason, I believe the Elite is better than the other one, but I want to stress that the other one is great too. But to be in the group which some of the best it needed this details the Elite have.

  5. I have been looking for a new pair of boxing gloves for my Muay Thai classes as my old ones are worn out. I have heard awesome things about the venum challenger gloves.

Can you do a review of Hayabusa products as well? I want to know your thoughts on them before I purchase.

    Reply
    • Hi, Jessie Palaypay and thank you.

Venum is an excellent brand, and Venum challenger gloves is excellent.  The gloves are longer on the wrist than most of the time for Muay Thai it can be of course a question of taste too.

Sure, I will test the Hayabusa products. It is too a great brand.
