The Features

Material

Are you looking for game-ready mitts that are soft, yet can last for many seasons? Then, the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft gloves are your best pick. Yes, these gloves are made from soft, custom-built, sought-after throwback leather selling in a pre-oiled condition. Significantly, this saves you time to break in and prepare it for your next game.

This robust material also gets better with time, preserving its form and gradually conforming to the shape of your hand. Admittedly, the fabric’s soft yet rugged sheen, durability, and aesthetic are impossible to duplicate.

Web Pattern, Roll Welting

The infielders’ gloves in this series use the Deep III I-web pattern. This style works best with infielders who want to minimize picking up dirt and rubble as they scoop the ball from the ground. In addition, it effectively shields direct sunlight as the player handles fly balls.

Moreover, if you play for the outfielder position, then this series outfielder glove features the H-web pattern, the best see-through trim for pop-ups. It also works well with the first basemen position.

Secondly, the gloves roll welting seams together with the various parts of the gloves, ending up with a steady, clean finish. This complements the leather’s enduring character by minimizing instances of wear and tear due to loose seams.

Palm Lining

The Classic Pro Soft Series uses a soft palm lining that shields the player from the massive impact. This lining is comfortable to the hand. Hence, it helps improve the player’s grasp.

In addition, its ventilated fabric ensures the player’s hand is fresh throughout the game. Therefore, having a glove whose outer layer is soft while the inner layer stays stiff, protects, and improves your performance.

Open Back

Are you an infielder who struggles to see the ball in the pocket when passing it in double plays? Then, this glove series is a dream come true. Undoubtedly, its conventional open back design leaves a space at the wrist adjustment area, improving your clarity and breathability of the mitt. This design also makes the glove adapt to larger hands.

  1. Love this review when I searched for the birthday gift for my nephew next weekend. And I think it helps me with some certain concerns. Mizuno is quite famous in my region not sure because of the hype or people like it for its quality and all the sports gears. Considering Mizuno could stand more than 100 years till now, their products and services must be lasting-longer or better than other products.

I do have a question for this great glove! Do they provide an after-sales service for fixing the gloves in case, my nephew, breaks it for the training or simply I purchase a new one is the best action? It would be nice to know the answer from ax expert from you, thanks in advance.

    • Hello Matt, and thank you.

Thank you for your kind words.

Mizuno is an outstanding brand, so it is not a hype. There is a bigger name, but they have always focus on quality, so it is some security to buy goods from them.

I have used a product from them, and many of my friends and all are very happy.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, but I am not 100%, they donót offer aster sale service — their focus in on developing the sports gear. But many shops do so it should not be a problem as far as I know.

Don´t hesitate to contact me if I can help you with anything else, or if you have any questions.

  2. For the upper-level player and even the intermediate player, this glove is very high quality. And it’s got great style, a throwback. I’m am thorough impresses with this glove. After years of playing, I retired my old glove and needed a replacement. It’s the best glove I’ve ever owned and at such a great value too.
