If you are serious about running then you know that running shorts are essential in your wardrobe of running attire. Men’s running shorts are different from your typical other shorts since they are designed to provide you with comfort and support whilst being designed to be practical enough for running.
They tend to be made from lightweight material that is breathable and the best running shorts offer moisture-wicking so sweat doesn’t hang around and leave you feeling icky. With an inner brief, many of these running shorts offer you with internal support and also gives you the opportunity to go without wearing a brief thus lessening the likelihood of chafing.
The running shorts you choose all comes down to personal preference for the most part based on the needs you have when running. Each person will be different and need some different things but we all want to be wearing clothes that will be comfortable while we run especially when you are completing a long run. Things that make the difference include the length of the shorts, the style of the shorts and the type of materials used to make the shorts. Here are our three favorite men’s running shorts.
We hope you love the products we recommend! We only products that we thoroughly investigate and believe is a real value for you.

All three of these shorts are great options for any male runner serious about running. We recommend the purchase of any of the above and they all come in a variety of colors so you can have a different one for every run day. The Nike and Under Armour options are a bit pricier than the MJ Soffe model but if you are a more serious runner we would recommend the Nike or Under Armour model.
If you are simply running occasionally in an effort to get at your physical activity and price is important to you then the MJ Soffe running shorts is the best option for you as it is the most affordable of the three so you could get at least two pairs of those for the price of one pair of the Nike.
If you are on the underhand running in a professional race we would recommend you go with the Nike as it offers the best of everything from material to breathability and comfort. The bottom line is the best men’s running shorts for you is all depending on your needs.

I was looking for a pair of running shorts for my friend and he apparently needed one for both running and gym. I think I would go with the Nike ones and since I had no idea what options I had, this detailed post of the best options available really did help. Thanks!
Thank you, Shrey.
I like the Nike one too. Not at least because the Dri-Fit fabric that keep men dry and comfortable. They have it in a lot of things and it´s excellent.
But the other two are very good too. For example are The Under Armour always being more and more popular.
It´s pleasure to have helping you with your choice!
I have always been a Nike apparel fan. Nike is always on the cutting edge with clothing technology. I own several pairs of Nike running shorts. I love how light weight they are and they just wick the sweat away. Nike has been around for a long time, and I really believe they make a great product. So, I would definitely have to side with the Challenger Running Shorts. I just like how they look and with my past Nike purchases, I am sure these would be a home run. Maybe I should branch out and try something else, but I am pretty happy with Nike. Thanks for sharing, I will stop by your site next time I need some running shorts.
Thank you, Steve & Kris.
I understand you very well about Nike, it´s always is huge quality and I´m fan to about the Dri-FIT system they have.
But Under Armour are excellent brand too, and growing. They have always very comfortable clothes and shoes and I believe they will just bigger and bigger.
The MJ Soffe men’s running short are very interesting too. Special let moisture wicking properties and the elastic waistband for comfort let me have special focus on it.
