How timely is this! I love New Balance because they tend to be wider than other shoes. Right now, my walking shoes hurt my feet. I usually walk about 5 miles a day, and I keep telling myself to get a new pair. I really like the New Balance Women’s 847 V4. It does say the size runs small. I have a 9 1/2 now, but I believe I need to go up to a 10 (they are not New Balance). So in the shoe I like, would a size ten work, you think?

      Hi, Leahrae, and thank you.

Thank you for your kind words.

I know that problem too well as I have a big wrist.

But you are right; I would take number 10. It is so important to have the size right and that you feel comfortable in it.

From Heel to toe in 9,5 is 26,5 but in 10 is 27 to give you an idea.

Great to hear about your benefit of the article too.

    Hello,
I’ve seen a lot of NB exercise attire around but didn’t know a lot about them. I love the fact that they aim to support and source eco-friendly options. That is such a high focus in my world lately, and I would be more inclined to support them because of this.
I’ve never owned a pair of New Balance shoes, but I was reading another one of your articles and am in the market for a new pair. I’ve had mine for over two years now.
I know you mentioned the New Balance Women’s 608 V5 is your top pick, featuring comfort and style. However, I am inclined to purchase the New Balance Women’s 847 V4. I am an outdoor runner and look for a durable shoe that has style. I really enjoy the look of this shoe. As I run predominately on the balls of my feet, I can appreciate the extra impact protection.
    Thanks!
