  1. The time has come, I have to look what the best baseball gloves are at this moment. I’m glad to have found this post because you present three really interesting products.

I find it hard to choose from too many choices and even here with the three models I struggle a little. I actually tend to get the Mizuno world win GXF75 because of the shock absorbing quality but then you write it has no straps to tighten on the wrist.

You recommend the Wilson A900, my second choice but what do you think is better for a still growing kid?

    • Hi, Stefan thank you.

All these three models are high quality. So it is more question of tiny details to find out should be number one choice. Which generally aren´t so important.

The Mizuno gloves you name are very, very good. The reason I choose the Wilson A900 was mostly based one because equal this gloves is like I have said before, how comfortable it is to use it. In the start, it takes some time to break it, but after it, it is just outstanding.

So you can be sure that no matter what you choose you are getting great gloves.

If I can help you with anything else, or if you have any questions, don´t hesitate to contact me.

  2. Hello and thank you for this amazing and informative article. I really had an amazing time checking it up. I have to get new pair of baseball gloves for me and my little boy. I am guessing we will find him his pair easily.

As for me, I am not a professional of course but I enjoy playing baseball outdoor every weekend. I am used to professional sports wear and I can not make a decision right now. All of these 3 look really nice. I think that Mizuno looks closes to me.

Is it a good choice? Have you used any of those before? The price is not the problem if the service is what i expect.

      Thank you for kind words.

Mizuno is a high-quality sports brand overall. And this gloves from them is in the same quality as other products from them.

I don´t play baseball myself, but I have talked about and researched these products in cooperation with people which know baseball very well. So after it, I know Mizuno is high quality. But the reason for I recommended Wilson A900 series prefer based mostly on that it is for both left and right hands, but Mizuno is only left-hand dexterity.  Plus the Wilson A900 series protects the hand effectively.

  3. Hey there! How are you doing? I’ve really enjoyed reading this article on “Best Baseball Gloves for Protection and Performance” as you’ve offered us with tonnes of useful information. I’m planning to get the Rawlings Player Preferred Baseball Glove but I have a question which I must ask. Do I need to dry it out in the sun after using in order for the sweat to dry up? Is it suitable to do it this way?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions. Keep up the good work!

    • Hi, AV 2001 and thank you.

      Thank you for kind words.

About how to dry the gloves after you have used it, the most important is to dry the gloves (if they get wet) with a clean rag. And after it is critical not to use air dryer but just the natural air to dry it.

  4. Thanks for the recommendation. I have one question though. Can I know are all baseball gloves you recommended made of 100% leather? If yes, what types of leather is this. I am thinking to buy one for my Muslim friend and he is very particular on the type of leather. Will only use those for Muslim. Hope you can let me know.

    • Hi, Florence Ki and thank you.

I didn´t know about the type of leather. I research it a lot and find out that the Rawlings Baseball Glove is an of quality full-grain Buffalo leather.

But about the other two, I haven´t still found out which type of leather they use. I am working in it and will let you know the answer here as soon I have to get it confirmed. Or you can contact me, and I send it to you.

But the Mizuno gloves are made of leather with excellent quality, called KIP leather.  Just need to find out which type.

If I can help you with anything else, or if you have any questions, don´t hesitate to contact me.

    • Hi, again Florence.

I finish my research and have it now confirmed that the GXF75 is made with 100% steer hide leather from an adult cow.

So everything should be fine about your great gift.

  6. It’s a good thing I found this post. Recommendations for the best baseball gloves are things worth looking into it.
After going through all three of the gloves, I have to say I’d prefer the Mizuno MVP, even with its parallel qualities that differ from the other two. But then you wrote that it is ideal only for right-hand orientations.
Thanks again for the post. I enjoyed going through it.

  8. Thank you for posting this excellent article on three easily obtainable and quality baseball gloves. Having comfortable or uncomfortable gloves can be the difference between loving and hating the sport. Probably the reason I never enjoyed softball in school was the fact that the gloves were all oversized and wonky. Parents who hope for their children to enjoy the game should go for something the child finds comfortable and snazzy. The Rawlings looks like a great starter glove.
