    Hi,

Being a former cross country runner myself I can tell you that sweat bands are a must! There just comes a point where your arms are just too tired to raise and wipe away all that sweat, and wearing a sweat band on your forehead, really does come in handy.

If you only have wrist bands then that is good as well as you will need to only wipe your forehead fewer times. Can you tell me if there are sweatbands that are just better than others at soaking up or are they are generally just as effective?

Thank you very much for your informative article and I will be sure to share this with some of friends of mine, though cross country days are over, I still jog with a group weekly. Thanks again 🙂 .

Hi, Philip Colbert and thank you.

      Thank you for kind words.

Yes, I agree to sweatband for the head can be very useful. But this is too a question about which sports you want to use it in. For example, in soccer (or football) headbands are not so good, but on the same, it is excellent to use it in tennis. So I take this two sports as an example.

There are many great sweatbands on the market. But I always have like a lot the BEACE Sweatbands Sports. They have brilliant sweatbands for both head and wrist. You can see a post about it here.

If I can help you with anything else, or if you have any questions, don´t hesitate to contact me.

sweatbands have so many uses! I Thought people only wore them as a fashion statement. But now I realize that they can be worn to keep sweat off your face as well they stand for a greater purpose! There are times when I am in the gym or playing basketball and when sweat gets into my face, I lose my concentration of what I was doing. My question to you is what sweatband would you recommend?

      Hi, Wesley and thank you.

Yes, sweatband is very useful. Of course, there can be circumstances, like huge rain, where it is better not to use it. And it is a question too about which sport you are active in if it is better to have wristband or headbands. But in most cases, it is great to have it.

About your question, about if I can recommend a few sweatbands. I wrote an article about few sweatbands and nothing had changed my mind that this sweatbands I name there are still in the group with some of the best sweatbands. You can see it here.

If I can help you with anything else, or if you have any questions, don´t hesitate to contact me.
