2. Nike Men’s Air Zoom Pegasus 36
Most shoe brands, such as Nike, always focus on general-use models.
They’re more popular since you can use them whether you are a newbie or an experienced runner, and the Pegasus 36 is a good example.
Nike’s Pegasus line has been in the market for nearly four decades, and as the name implies, this is the 36th version already.
That means any shoes belonging to this line are working perfectly for the wearers.
Review
Some of the features the Nike Men’s Air Zoom Pegasus 36 offers are:
- Race Type Tongue
If you’ve used the Pegasus 35, you will notice a big difference in the upper.
The Pegasus 36 now has a race-type tongue, while the padding has decreased significantly.
That resulted in the upper becoming more breathable.
Those with bigger feet would experience a snug fit, but since the length of the tongue also decreased, the shoe might slip down while you’re running.
- Breathability and Support
To further enhance breathability, the synthetic mesh comes with perforations.
It also has Flywire cables on the midfoot to provide better support along with a molded heel counter.
Just like the Pegasus 35, the 36 also has the Zoom Air pocket.
With its thinness, you won’t feel it, but it can provide the additional support and comfort you’re looking for.
- Durable Outsole
One of the best things about the Pegasus 36 is the durable outsole, manufactured from hard carbon rubber.
Since the shoes have the same outsole as the Pegasus 35, they’re already tried and tested for wet and dry surfaces.
PROS
- Snug fit
- Long-lasting outsole
- Reduces the chance of chaffing
- Comfortable to wear
CONS
- The heel folds in an odd way

A fast and pocket-friendly solution, this is the best way to describe Nike Tanjun.
If you don’t care too much about quality or you only plan to use the shoe for regular walks, this is your best choice.
Released in 2015, the Nike Tanjun is still very popular because it’s very affordable.
Review
The Nike Tanjun has a lot to offer, including:
- Indoor Design
Although you can use this shoe for regular walks outside, the quality is not too good compared to other running shoes.
It has hard and inflexible cushioning, so it’s not a good choice for long-term usage.
If you do indoor calisthenics or offer Zumba lessons, the Nike Tanjun is the most affordable shoe available that you can use.
- Lightweight
If you’ve been wearing running shoes for a long time, you can easily see their difference in terms of weight.
The NIKE Men’s Tanjun Sneakers’ overall weight is only around 240 grams.
That means it won’t take a toll on your feet, especially your soles, even if you wear it for extended periods.

No matter what kind of sports outfit you’re wearing, you can find a good design that would match it perfectly.
This pair of shoes also comes in a wide range of colors, so you have many options to choose from.

All these shoes are great. I am wondering if any of them tend to be wide? I have found that Nike shoes, in general, do not run wide. My foot is not narrow, and I find that buying this brand makes my foot feel scrunched. I pedal for an hour at the gym and have yet to find a pair of shoes that will work and not make my feet hurt or feel tingly. Any suggestions for which pair might work for me?
Hi Leahrae, and thank you.

I understand you very well; I have the same problem. I would go for Revolution 5 because it is very comfortable to wear and I believe it could solve your problem.
