  1. Just wanted to let know I really appreciated the detailed reviews and comparisons of different brands and models provided valuable insights into the features that are essential for a comfortable and efficient beach run.

I would love to hear from other readers about their personal experiences with running shoes on sandy terrains. How did they perform in different beach conditions like wet sand or slopes? Any tips for maintaining the durability and performance of sand running shoes?

    • Hi, Ronald, and thank you.

Thank you for your kind words.

All these shoes are great in wet /dry sand and slopes. There, play the grip a key rule.

I know how hard it can be to run fast in the sand, and that is why I can confirm the grip plays a big part.

But of course, the shoes need too to be comfortable in the sand because they can be heavy in some places to run in. I was training team handball and, in the pre-season, running in the sand sometimes played a big part in the training.

About your question about tips for maintaining durability and performance, I want to mention a few good ones.

As with other shoes, cleaning is always important. So I recommend doing it after every run, at least often.

You can remove sand and debris by tapping the shoes together and brushing them with a soft-bristled brush.

But I would always use clean water to remove sand or salt (or both!) when you rinse them. But it should be gently and without soar or harsh detergents as it would not be good for the material.

Also, remember not to let them dry in direct sunlight or by a heat source, as it can warp the shoes. I prefer to use the air to let them dry naturally!

  2. HI, I found the video about how to run on sand very practical and insightful. I had to do some beach training as part of a soccer team and I found it to be particularly stressful and draining but didn’t fully understand why. I remember that I sometimes would prefer to run barefoot and risk injury from little pebbles or tiny debris washed ashore than wear my regular sneakers that just didn’t work for me with the sand. The video and your review of the best shoes for sand training just told me why I had such a hard time. Thank you for this informative post.
